2021 Umano International Short Film Festival

A thought-provoking and creative short film about the struggles a man encounters while he makes his way through the city.

The Beautiful People

A man's journey of realization about where the food on his plate comes from.

A Herd

A four-minute, family-friendly, musical animated film about Maggie May, a constant shopper who buys things she doesn’t need. When she gets buried in styrofoam, tissue, and silly purchases, she learns to recycle and reuse.

Maggie May, An Environmental Story

It is with a deep reverence for the bravery of the men, women, and children of the civil rights movement that we watch Gigi revel in this freedom. An experience that at one time, not long enough ago, was deemed unlawful.

On The Side Of Right

The true, inspiring story of an Indian teenage girl who survived a brutal acid attack and rose to became a human rights activist and model.

Reshma

Umano International Short Film Festival - Feature Event

This short film covers the journey of Blake McFarland's most recent and meaningful creation, "World at War." This sculpture is a larger than life hero character made out of recycled tires emerging out of a pile of waste. Each piece of garbage was gathered from the remote coastline as well as local landfill and represents everyday items that we humans discard.
